Anthony David Gonzalez, a former American tight end, played for 17 seasons with the National Football League. Gonzalez is regarded as one of the best tight ends to ever play. Alongside being the league's top receiver for yards and third-highest total of receptions, Gonzalez also was one of the NFL tight end who had the highest number of receptions.

Former Kansas City Chiefs and Atlanta Falcons All-Pro tight end Tony Gonzalez currently serves as an FOX Sports studio analyst. Since the start of the 2017 NFL season began, Gonzalez has been a fixture on FOX NFL KICKOFF FOX's hour long NFL pregame show preceding FOX NFL SUNDAY, airing every Sunday morning at 11:00 am ET throughout the NFL season.
Gonzalez's claims of retiring from the NFL following 2013 was not true. On the 15th of March 2013 Gonzalez was signed by the Falcons the two-year deal worth $14 million. Randy Moss retired in 2013, and Gonzalez at 37 at the time spent the last year of his career as the NFL leading receiver yards.
